Approved Environmental Health Fee Schedule

The Yavapai County Community Health Services identified the first, confirmed case of Monkeypox in an individual in Yavapai County. The individual likely contracted it through contact during travel outside of Yavapai County. This individual is isolating. Proposed EH Fee Schedule / Health Code & Ordinances Revision

Proposed Environmental Health Fee Schedule
An increase to the Environmental Health Unit Fee schedule is being recommended to the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors. The new fee schedule is necessary due to the increased cost of doing business. In addition, the new fees will more fairly cover the cost of time spent performing inspections. Courtesy presentation before the BOS will be July 20, 2022. Health Effects of Smoke from Wildfire and Prescribed Burns

Wildfire smoke is a mixture of small particles, gases, and water vapor. The primary health concern is the small particles. These small particles can cause burning eyes, runny nose, scratchy throat, headaches, and illness (i.e., bronchitis). How is your stress and wellbeing? Are you getting enough sleep, or enough to eat, or enough opportunities to move your body? Yavapai County Community Health Services (YCCHS) wants to know what you need in your community to make it a healthier, happier place to live. YCCHS is partnering with Pinnacle Prevention, a public health-based nonprofit, to conduct the 2022 Community Health Assessment and community health survey. YCCHS is required to complete the assessment every five years, and the last assessment was completed in 2017.
