60-day formal comment period begins on County comprehensive plan Monday, September 19, 2022 September 16, 2022 | Development Services Department – Jeremy Dye Yavapai County Friday September 16, 2022 released the latest update of Yavapai County 2032 Comprehensive Plan Document, the county’s comprehensive plan that would set policy for growth and prosperity for the next 10 years. This latest version has been sent to surrounding contiguous counties, all county municipalities and several state and federal agencies for a state-mandated 60-day comment period. Effective May 2, 2022 Development Services will no longer conduct Site Investigations Monday, April 11, 2022 Development Services will no longer conduct Site Investigations effective May 2, 2022. Applicants must hire their own Arizona Professional Engineer, Sanitarian or Geologist to determine if the property will meet the requirements for an on-site wastewater disposal system and submit the findings at the same time as the wastewater application through the county’s web portal (Citizenserve) starting in May. The permit type is Non-County Conducted Site Investigation and the submittal fee is $75.00. For a list of septic-related businesses in the county, visit the Yavapai County Contractors Association online at https://ycca.org/ or call 928-778-0040.
