Fire District Official Budget Forms for Fiscal Year 2024

The Arizona Auditor General has updated and issued the fire district official budget forms for fiscal year (FY) 2024 and thereafter, as required by Arizona Revised Statutes §48-805.02. Fire districts must download the forms from the Arizona Auditor General website and submit the completed budget to the applicable county board of supervisors no later than August 1 each year. The Fifty-sixth Legislature, First Regular Session, has not yet concluded. If additional legislation impacting FY 2024 budgets becomes law, we will notify you when updated forms are available for download. The form includes elements required by statute that fire districts must include in their budgets. For FY 2024, we clarified the form instructions and did not make any other updates. A fire district may choose to add more information or detail in its adopted budget beyond statutory requirements.
